Kurt has transformed from world champion wheelchair racer to an accomplished storyteller and interviewer. Following his retirement from racing in 2018, Kurt has hosted One plus One for ABC, his podcast Tiny Island, and co-hosted the Australian television coverage of the 2021 and 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
Ryley was born to lead, and as the Co-Captain of the Australian Paralympic team in Tokyo 2020, he thrived in this role. Ryley has represented Australia at five Games and is a much-loved member of the Paralympic movement. He joined the YLR team in 2023 and has kept Kurt on his toes ever since.
Sarah has worked on many groundbreaking and well-loved projects in her ten years with the ABC. From Conversations with Richard Fidler to Evenings with Dom Knight at ABC Sydney and, more recently, as the Executive Producer on the podcast series Let Us In! She also coordinated the team in Paris to cover the 2024 Games.
Pete is a highly experienced and decorated Sports Director of Photography who has operated within sports broadcast projects for 20 years. He is currently a senior camera operator and assistant director at The Supercars Championship, the senior camera operator at the World Supercross Championship, and the founder of The Hut Productions, a Newcastle-based commercial production house.
Clint is an award-winning sound engineer who regularly mixes and masters sound for TV, radio, short, and feature-length films. Clint's past projects have been distributed nationally and internationally. He has contributed to content for National Geographic, SBS, ABC, and the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Erling is a Norwegen film and audio creator working with the You Little Ripper team. He has over 20 years of experience creating TV and editing TV. He specializes in dad jokes but likes to branch into puns and occasionally toilet humour.
